Good People ("we", "us", "our") is a private introduction network operated at goodpeoplesapp.com. We help adults connect through curated introductions, shared experiences, and real-world events.

Information you provide directly
- Account information — name, email address, password
- Profile information — age, city, profession, bio, photos
- Questionnaire responses — your 21 compatibility answers
- Preferences — who you'd like to meet, relationship intent, cultural interests
- Messages — conversations between you and other members
- Experience posts — outings you create or join
- Referral information — contact details you provide when inviting others

- Device type and operating system
- Browser type and version
- IP address and approximate location
- Usage data — screens visited, features used, session duration
- Error logs and performance data
Information we do not collect
- Precise GPS location (we only use city-level location you provide)
- Contacts from your phone
- Social media data
- Payment card details (processed by third-party payment providers only)

4. How we share your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
We share limited information with
- Other members — your profile is visible only to selected, verified members. Your email, phone number, and full location are never shared.
- Firebase (Google) — our database and authentication provider. Data is stored securely in Google's infrastructure.
- Payment processors — if you purchase a Self-Work product, payment is handled by a third-party processor. We do not store card details.
- Law enforcement — if required by law or to protect the safety of our members.
5. Your photos and profile visibility
Your photos are stored securely and displayed only to members within our platform. You can control your visibility at any time through Profile → Visibility settings:
- Visible to selected members — you appear in curated introductions
- Pause introductions — you are hidden from new introductions
- Private until reviewed — your profile is fully hidden
6. Data retention
- Your account data is retained while your account is active
- Messages are retained to provide conversation history
- After account deletion, we delete your personal data within 30 days
- Some data may be retained longer if required by law
- Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Correction — update inaccurate information in your profile
- Deletion — delete your account and all associated data
- Portability — receive your data in a portable format
- Objection — object to certain types of processing
- Withdraw consent — at any time, for any consent-based processing

8. Cookies
We use minimal cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication, and Firestore security rules to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
Good People is designed for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of Good People after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
