1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Good People ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use Good People
• You must be a human — automated accounts are not permitted
• You must provide accurate information about yourself
• You must not have been previously removed from our platform for violations
• You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

You may not create accounts on behalf of others, impersonate any person, or use false information to create an account.

4. Community standards

Good People is a private, intentional community. All members are expected to conduct themselves with respect, honesty, and care.

You agree not to

• Harass, threaten, or harm other members
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Use fake photos or misrepresent your identity
• Solicit money from other members
• Share other members' private information without consent
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation or spam
• Attempt to extract personal contact details through harassment
• Post sexually explicit, violent, or offensive content
• Discriminate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age
• Use automated tools to access or scrape the platform
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent our security measures

5. Experiences feature

When posting or joining an Experience ("Go With Me"), you agree that:

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your posted experience details
• You will communicate honestly about payment expectations
• You will respect the other person's time, boundaries, and safety
• Good People is not responsible for the outcome of any in-person meeting
• You use the Experiences feature at your own risk
• You will report any safety concerns to us immediately

6. Referral system

• You may only refer people you genuinely believe would benefit from and contribute to our community
• You may not use referrals for spam or commercial purposes
• Internal connection suggestions require the consent of both parties
• You are responsible for ensuring referees understand they are applying to a private community

7. Self-Work marketplace

• Purchases are processed securely through third-party payment providers
• All sales are final unless otherwise stated
• Self-Work tools are for informational and self-development purposes only
• Results are not medical, psychological, or professional advice
• Good People is not liable for decisions made based on Self-Work results

8. Content you post

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting content on Good People, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content within the platform.

You represent that you have the right to post any content you share and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

9. Content moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our Community Standards. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these terms or that create safety concerns for other members.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if:

• You violate these terms or our Community Standards
• Your behaviour creates risk or harm for other members
• We are required to do so by law
• Your account shows signs of fraud or inauthenticity

You may delete your account at any time via the account deletion page or through Profile → Settings → Account.

11. Disclaimers

Good People is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that you will form connections, find a relationship, or achieve any particular outcome through use of the Service.

We are not responsible for the actions of other members, in-person meetings, or any harm arising from use of the platform.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Good People shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings are commenced.
